I didn't do it!
Apparently some mystery person had entered the house while we all slept, knocked the cake over on the floor and ate a few pieces because when I asked the only suspect she claimed she was innocent.
No one was downstairs so I called out to who ever could hear me.
Me: Who did this?
Alyssa: (with a serious face) I don't know mama.
Me: (when I saw her face) Alyssa
Alyssa: It wasn't me mama
I wonder how early she got up to do this? I think she had planned it from the night before because when she asked for another piece I had told her she could have a slice tomorrow. I guess she helped herself.
Just look at that face. Innocent? I think not.
