Ashleigh's 1st brand new toy!
As a parent, we are faced with the responsibility of selecting toys for our children with safety as our #1 priority. Ebeanstalk, an online toy company is here to make our job a little bit easier. Their available products range from baby gifts to developmental toys and I, along with other moms had the priviledge of testing one of their toys.
Two days ago we received the Sort n' Learn Pelican from Tiny Love. I knew Ashleigh, who is now 11 1/2 months old, would love it because of the bright colors and the noises it makes. Unfortunately her 5yr old brother and 3 yr old sister loved it just as much!
From the time I opened the package and she saw the bird, she immediately crawled over to take a closer look. I mean, who could resist that large pelican beak? It has a very child friendly appearance. I can't say that for all toys.
I opened the beak and gave her the shapes while I put the packaging away and my baby got so excited about her new toy! She was banging the shapes on the sorter and laughing her little heart out. Thankfully Mr. Pelican stood up to the abuse. The toy is very well made and durable which is a must! I've fiddled with the beak and feet to make sure of this.
I am so pleased with this toy. There is a multi-lingual switch. YES! It not only has English but French and Spanish as well! When it comes to the learning options, it can tell you the shape, the color or you can select to have silly fun noises played when the shape is matched to the correct hole. All in one of the 3 languages and there are 2 levels of volume.
I would have definitely purchased this product had I seen it. It's not your average shape sorter.

Wow, what a neat toy and Ashleigh looks like she has it all figured out! Nice photos :)
Thanks Sheliza. I kid you not I have photos of her putting in the shapes in the correct hole. It's weird that she actually looked as though she knew what to do after I showed her
what a beauty !!!
