I enjoy making chocolate fudge.
What I make with my nieces and nephews are rice krispie treats cut out into holidays shapes and I make to give away mint chocolate brownies and saltine toffee.
I make fresh cinnamon rolls for breakfast during the holidays. I start them the day before and then whoever gets up first takes them out of the fridge and lets them come to room temperature so I can bake them when I get up.

I bake for every holiday. My favorite is for Mardi Gras I make a King Cake. Just a glorified massive cinnamon bun but hey it's tasty. I stopped putting a baby in it when I bit one. For Christmas I always make Mexican Christmas cookies. They taste like snickerdoodles but are easier to make. My husband doesn't like them but my girls and I like not sharing.
Funfetti Cupcakes are a must-have at every occasion in my house!
Thanks!

I love baking. I always feel like I run short of time around the holidays. This year I'm definitely making meringue kisses again and will probably also do creme de menthe brownies, rolled sugar cookies and date balls. Plus whatever else strikes my fancy between now and then.
Oh, this year I also want to try to make my own candy canes! It sounds tricky but could be so cool!

Peppermint bark is another favorite.
Crushed candy canes, to yield 1 cup
2 pounds white chocolate can use milk or dark if you prefer.
Peppermint flavorings, optional
Directions
Place candy canes in a plastic bag and hammer into 1/4-inch chunks or smaller. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Combine candy cane chunks with chocolate (add peppermint flavoring at this point if desired.) Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet layered with parchment or waxed paper and place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from cookie sheet and break into pieces (like peanut brittle.)
